Puchong is a town that is smack dab in the middle of Kuala Lumpur City and Putrajaya, coming a long way from its days as a rubber plantation and tin mining site. Because of its location, it serves as a residential area for those working in KL and Pentaling Jaya. Further settlements in the area such as Saujana Puchong and Puchong Prima are built on the vast land the suburb has to spare, making the area a lucrative place to invest in. A testament to this would be the area’s dense population.
It is easy to get around as well for it is very neatly linked to the Klang Valley via the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) and the Puchong-Sungai Besi Highway along with the Federal Highway. Ample buses through the RapidKL service also link residents to major places such as Cyberjaya and Putrajaya for work or play. A LRT station is set to be complete by 2012, furthering the town’s potential and current appeal.
